@NoContextBrits I am now thinking about the chip shop in Gilesgate with the lovely older lady who used to give me extra chips. I hope she’s still around and they are doing well.

@NoContextBrits I thought that was proper chips and French fries at first and thought that was weird, then I realised it was cheesy chips and changed my opinion to ‘yes fair enough but the cheese needs longer to melt.’

@NoContextBrits Also, best thing I ever saw was a Poundland next to a 99p store (also a proper chain) and someone opened up 98p store next to that.
