A Labour government would give £2,400 to teachers in the very early stages of their career in England to try to stop them leaving the profession. 1. It’s experienced teachers you need to try and keep. 2. The possibility of £2,400 means nothing to someone who is working themselves into the ground and becoming physically ill. 3. Use the 50 million budgeted for this to pay for more PPA time for classroom teachers in the schools/areas where they are most likely to quit.

#bbcqt Surely the link between deprivation, feeding children and enabling these children to make progress is clear, the government can't afford to give free school meals but can waste billions on track and trace and still hold teachers to account!

Sleep Well all. It’s easy to say, but don’t think about what you could’ve completed or should’ve done. Think about what replaced those tasks. If it was nothing at all, then perfect! I’ll be starting to work hard again tmrw, when the term starts.
