@Tesla If the car can infer tread depth from vibration, owners might delay tire checks, trusting the system, potentially a false sense of safety when the sensors misread wear. A tread check every few thousand miles keeps the algorithm honest.

Gerade beim Einkaufen am Schokoregal hängen geblieben. Bald ist ja Ostern und da darf der Schoko-Osterhase nicht fehlen. Der Klassiker ist ja der Lindt Goldhase, 50 Gramm, 3,29 Euro. Laut Preisschild: Kilopreis von 65,80 Euro. Nur mal so zur Einordnung was das heißt. Rinderfilet beim Metzger kostet zwischen 45 und 55 Euro das Kilo. Der Schokohase ist also teurer als nen leckeres Filet. Und jetzt der Witz: Der Kakaopreis ist seit letztem Jahr massiv gefallen. Aktuell liegt er wieder bei 2.600 Euro pro Tonne, also auf dem Niveau von 2023 bevor die Krise losging. Aber bei Lindt im Regal? 18 Prozent teurer als letztes Jahr. Die Begründung: Man habe ja langfristig eingekauft, die niedrigeren Preise kommen frühestens 2027 an. Na klar! Gleichzeitig hat Lindt letztes Jahr 19 Prozent auf die Preise draufgeschlagen und den Gewinn um 8 Prozent gesteigert. 726 Millionen Franken Reingewinn. Die Begründung für die Preiserhöhung war der teure Kakao. Jetzt ist der Kakao wieder billig und die Preise bleiben oben. Das nennt man in der Volkswirtschaft Preisrigidität nach oben. Auf deutsch: Rauf geht immer, runter nie. Und wir zahlen brav weiter. Na dann Frohe Ostern!
