Just two days ago, we rescued 93 animals from a single home.
And right now, that number is growing.
A mama at Main Line Animal Rescue is actively delivering a litter of beautiful puppies - bringing our total even higher. Between MLAR and our Philadelphia headquarters, we are now completely full.
To help us open kennels and make space for the animals still waiting for help, we will be waiving adoption fees for all dogs with stays of 60+ days this Saturday and Sunday at both locations, thanks to our friends at @Freshpet.
If you’re able to adopt, now is the time. If you can’t, please consider donating to support their care.
We can’t do this without you. Venmo: @pspca

Nearly 100 animals.
We keep repeating the number, but it still doesn't fully capture what they've been through. Nearly 100 lives, each carrying their own story.
Some are still scared, unsure of this new world, but others are already wagging their tails, leaning in for love, and showing us just how resilient they are.
Together, we're giving them the second chance they deserve.

And we are already beyond capacity.
We will always show up for animals in need, but we cannot do this without support. The scale of this rescue is immense, and the resources required to care for 93 animals at once are staggering.
Please, if you are able, consider making a donation today.
They have been through enough. Now they need us.

In total, 93 animals were removed from this home. 76 dogs and puppies, 15 cats and kittens, and 2 rabbits.
They are safe now. They are with us. But safety is only the first step.
Right now, every single one is undergoing forensic examinations. Many will need extensive medical treatment. All of them will need time, patience, and consistent care to begin healing from what they’ve endured.

URGENT RESCUE: 93 ANIMALS SAVED
Yesterday, our Animal Law Enforcement team, with the assistance of the Lancaster County Sheriff’s Department and the West Hempfield Township Police, executed a search warrant in Lancaster County after receiving a tip from a concerned citizen. What they walked into was overwhelming and heartbreaking.

This week on #BennettsBuddies with the @pspca, meet Sal! 🐾
Sal is a lovable guy that is all about the snuggles. He firmly believes he’s a lap dog (we’ll let him keep thinking that), and there’s nothing he loves more than curling up close with his people. 🥰

HELP US IDENTIFY: Person of Interest in Abandoned Puppy Cases
The Pennsylvania SPCA is seeking the public’s assistance in helping to identify a person of interest in connection with two separate incidents of abandoned puppies in Old City, Philadelphia.
Surveillance video obtained by the PSPCA appears to show the same individual on both dates - December 26, 2025, near N. Bread & Cherry Streets, and again on April 18, 2026, near Arch & Bread Streets - where a combined total of up to 19 puppies were found abandoned.
If you recognize this individual or have any information about their identity, please contact us immediately:
📞 Animal Cruelty Hotline: 866-601-7722
✉️ mailto:cruelty@pspca.org
🌐 pspca.org/form/report-an…
All tips can be left anonymously. This is an active animal cruelty investigation, and your information could make a critical difference - both in holding the responsible party accountable and in locating the six puppies from the most recent litter who are still missing.
Please share widely.
