This is what Schwarber looks like now. Just days ago, you wouldn't have recognized him. On July 13, Schwarber was found abandoned in the vestibule of our Philadelphia headquarters, left inside a small pink crate, with no note and no information about who he was.

She did it. After nearly three years in our shelter, Fallon is finally going home. Her adopter previously opened her heart to Josie, a senior pittie she adopted from @MainLineRescue. Josie crossed the rainbow bridge just a few months ago and now she’s honoring her memory by giving another senior dog the same love and second chance. Some happy endings are worth the wait. Happy forever, Fallon.

Do you recognize this dog? "Peanuts" was recently found as a stray near Collins St & E Clearfield St. She was brought to the PSPCA by a Good Samaritan. She is an adult female pittie mix. It’s hard to believe this is the same dog. Not long ago, Dimples could barely hold herself up. Now she’s hopping into laps, giving kisses, and soaking up all the love she can get. She’s still on her healing journey, but she has already come so far. We couldn’t be more proud of this sweet girl. Learn about her story in our previous posts.

Every step forward has to be slow and deliberate. Dimples still has a long recovery ahead of her. But she's warm, safe, and finally getting the care she needed all along.

Dimples spent the early morning hours of June 23 tied to a fence, unable to walk, with blood on her face. An individual had allegedly found the French bulldog her in the yard the night before. Not sure what else to do, they tied Dimples up and hours later called ACCT Philly.
