@bartonovopolis There's an argument to be made that the story is so long, spending 3 years a season would take 27 years but that all assumes they structure their seasons the same very very dumb way. Double season length, take 3 years and perfect it. Takes same amt of time

I genuinely think that “I’d rather get cheap animation than wait years between seasons” mindset stems from subconsciously looking at the show as content rather than art. In 10 years when it’s all said and done and the show ages like milk you’ll wish they took their time instead.

Again, it's not about changing the style of the show, it's about doing the bare minimum and not turning in the 1st draft

There are examples of many successful tv shows or movies with basic cinematography that have incredible story and characters

Every episode animation wise feels like a first draft. Floating PNGs, disconnected punches, and lots of straight up errors. We're asking for the bare minimum
