This is a good sermon on what it means to eat Christ's flesh and drink His blood. The text is from John 6. Also good applications regarding examination. Faith is the essential thing. The fullness of faith receiving the fullness of Christ. And if you keep reading in John 6, Jesus says it is the Spirit that gives life, the flesh profits nothing. We do feed on Christ, even His flesh and blood, by faith, and through our union with Christ by His Spirit.

Everything that Auron says here is accurate and true. But it masks a deeper reality. It does not answer: “Why were masses of immigrants invited into the US?” Because, even thought the US was both Anglo and predominantly Protestant, both of these were subordinate to its true organizing principle: the commercial exploitation of the North America. To exploit it, you must have sufficient people to occupy it. Natural birth rates were insufficient for this. Hence, settler immigrants from non Anglo-Protestant countries. It must be further understood that the particular form of government the budding American nation chose and the myths is embraced — progress, popular sovereignty, libertarianism, social contract, the neutral procedural state and so forth — were chosen because they best served the growing power of the commercial and professional class. In this sense it must be understood that America is and has always been first of all a commercial zone, led and dominated by Anglo-Protestants, but those realities were subordinate to commerce. Had Anglo heritage or Protestantism been the true dominant organizing forces, different choices would have been made. Trying to call back to Anglo-Protestantism is, at this point a cope, a form of nostalgia. Realizing such a thing would mean undoing the history of America, remaking it from the ground up, a kind of past-utopian reactionary ideology with its goal being the sweeping away of the current order to reinstantiate some idealized mythic past moment.

There are judges that need to be given some rope. How about whatever crime that was committed that would have been a just punishment, if the judge fails to give that ruling, then he is sentenced to that same fate. But rope might be simpler. The same judges miscarry justice countless times. They should really be charged with the future crimes of criminals that they should have put in jail or given the death penalty to.

John Knox was a brave and fiery warrior for Christ who brought Reformation to Scotland. On the last night of his life, he was attacked especially fiercely by Satan. That night, he was constantly groaning and sighing. He explained why: "To this point in my fragile life, I have endured many conflicts and many of Satan’s attacks. But now that roaring lion has assailed me very boldly and poured out all his strength at once to swallow and ruin me. He used to set my sins right in front of my eyes often, often harassed me to the point of despair, often sought to catch me in the world’s deceitful snares. But because he has been shattered by the sword of the Spirit, the Word of God, he could do nothing. Yet now he attacks me by another route. That cunning serpent is bent on convincing me that I have merited heaven itself and blessed immortality because I have faithfully discharged my ambassadorship in ministry. There's a lot going on here and most of it's highly controversial and uncomfortable but without looking at the difficult stuff we can't see the whole board so strap in: America was founded predominantly by Anglo-Protestants, Catholics were here since the begging and they even got Maryland but that didn't go so well and it reverted to protestant control The American ruling class was dominated by high-church Anglos When the first big waves of Irish, German, and Italian immigration arrived they were Catholic, the ethnic and religious tensions began Much like Indian immigrants do today, Catholics took over urban hubs and used machine politics to turn government jobs into ethnic cartels, Catholic neighborhood form, Catholic schools segregate out the new minorities and allow them to retain their culture and faith We also start to see significant Eastern European immigration which is why America has more Jews here than Israel does in their specifically Jewish ethno-state This is how we got the Know Nothings (beware of foreign influence, Catholics will follow their king in Rome) Most people think of the KKK as an organization that tormented black Americans but it was mainly a protestant reaction to Catholic and Jewish immigration Catholic and Jewish diasporas were able to control local urban politics but found it difficult to break into the higher echelon because the ruling class remained White Anglo-Saxon Protestants (WASPs) and they were uninterested in handing power to the new comers This is why you heard so much about Catholics and Jews being excluded from country clubs, where WASPs did the real politics The mainline Protestant denominations held the ruling class but evangelical low-church Protestantism swept through the heartland The ruling class might have been Anglican/Episcopalian but evangelicals had the passion and the numbers Jews were already not huge fans of Catholics for reasons that should be obvious, and Evangelicals adopted this novel form of theology called dispensationalism that featured the Jews prominently as a chosen people to be protected and to whom a homeland was owed if Jesus was to return Evangelicals are also very politically convenient because while they have the numbers and accumulated wealth to be very politically useful, they have no interest in ruling Many Evangelicals even believe that holding power is against their religion and are very amenable to handing power to another ruling class So you start to see an Evangelical-Jewish axis form in American politics to unseat the WASPs and freeze out the Catholics Dispensationalism was key to securing support for the founding of Israel and Jewish allies here are very aware of how important it is to keep Evangelicals the dominate Christians force in America politics But as America continued to experience unprecedented levels of legal and illegal immigration it didn't just shift the ethnic make up, but the religious composition as well When foreigners are Christian (instead of say Muslim or Hindu) they are not Evangelical, they're Catholic or Orthodox (sorry Catholic bros but America isn't getting more Catholic, it's getting more foreign and less American) These immigrants don't have the American addiction to WW2 Holocaust history and their faith is at best neutral to Judaism, if not openly hostile They're not natural allies to Israel and American Jews are very aware of this So what you are watching under the surface of the current debate is an ethno-religious shake up of the American political landscape The remaining WASPs who resent losing power aligning to some extent with Catholics (who were already ascending, notice the Supreme Court and conservative intelligentsia are increasingly more Catholic and less Jewish) while Jewish Americans attempt to hold onto their hard won positions by utilizing their alliance with Evangelicals Paula White vs The Pope, it's just ethno-religious factionalism dressed up in ideology

All this hate for evangelicals when, statistically, we are the only bloc consistently holding it down for biblical marriage, the pro-life cause, secure borders, and every other issue. We are by far the most conservative and united in every political, cultural, and moral area. This is not statistically contested. Without the strength and cohesion of this group, conservatives lose everything. Consequently, the country loses everything. Not an exaggeration. So ask yourself: why would someone want to divide, destroy, and demoralize this stalwart group? The answer is obvious if the person is progressive, but it becomes a bit murky when the people targeting this group are on the “right,” right? Something to ponder

We need godly men who actually believe God hates evil and wants the magistrates to punish the evildoer with the sword of justice that He had given to them. Where are you, men of North Carolina? They're trying to California us with our schools, our justice system and our politics by moving all these leftists for jobs in Charlotte and Raleigh/Durham/Chapel Hill. We are literally trying to fight becoming the California of The South. They're working between Georgia and North Carolina to see which one goes first. This is not a joke. Even Stacey Abrams said it's either Georgia or North Carolina, but one of them can fall to The Left.

I’ll make intros when it makes sense, and I’ll try to clear up misunderstandings when I think two people should get along. This is likely so. But I would rather Trump go scorched earth and blast the Graham's of the world, daily, rant after rant, and call out every RINO, rather than play ball with them such that he sidles up to Graham, Levin, and company, while blasting Carlson, Jones, etc. Force the issue. Make Graham and company unelectsble because you excoriate them everyday. Trump could wield his weight in this way and get real based candidates in the midterms, etc. If he had done this since 2016 perhaps we would have better men in office now. Note, I am not advocating voting for Democrats. I am advocating for Trump being a dictator in the rigjt direction. Sure, he'd risk getting impeached. Fine. That would drain the swamp faster, hype up massive protests, and we go from there.

We can read Calvin and many of the Reformers and Puritans speaking sharply regarding various nationalities, races, or tribes. For just one example, see Calvin’s commentary on Psalm 120:5, “David complains that he was doomed to linger for a long time among a perverse people; his condition resembling that of some wretched individual who is compelled to live till he grows old in sorrowful exile. The Mesechites and Kedarenes, as is well known, were Eastern tribes; the former of which derived their original from Japhet, as Moses informs us in Genesis 10:2; and the latter from a son of Ishmael. (Genesis 25:13.)… the Prophet bewails his protracted banishment, of the termination of which he saw no prospect. (55) But as immediately after he adds Kedar, by which term the Ishmaelites are unquestionably intended, I have no doubt that Mesech is to be understood of the Arabians who were their neighbors. If any one is of opinion that the Mesechites obtained this name from their dexterity in shooting with the bow, I will make no objections, provided it is admitted that the Prophet — as if he had been confined within a country of robbers — expresses the irksomeness of an uncomfortable and an annoying place of residence. Although he names the Arabians, yet under the terms employed he speaks metaphorically of his own countrymen, just as he elsewhere applies the appellation of Gentiles to the corrupt and degenerate Jews. But here, with the view of putting still more dishonor upon his enemies, he has purposely selected the name by which to designate them from some of the savage and barbarous nations whose horrible cruelty was well known to the Jews. From these words we are taught, that scarcely a more distressing evil can befall the people of God, than for them to be placed in circumstances which, notwithstanding their living a holy and an inoffensive life, they yet cannot escape the calumnies of venomous tongues. It is to be observed, that although David was living in his own country, he yet was a stranger in it, nothing being more grievous to him than to be in the company of wicked men. Hence we learn that no sin is more detestable to God, by whose Spirit David spake, than the false accusations which shamefully deface the beauty of God’s Church, and lay it waste, causing it to differ little from the dens of robbers, or other places rendered infamous from the barbarous cruelty of which they are the scene. Now if the place where the uprightness of good men is overwhelmed by the criminations of lying lips is to the children of God converted into a region of miserable exile, how could they have pleasure, or rather, how could they fail to feel the bitterest sorrow, in abiding in a part of the world where the sacred name of God is shamefully profaned by horrible blasphemies, and his truth obscured by detestable lies? David exclaims, Alas for me! because, dwelling among false brethren and a bastard race of Abraham, he was wrongfully molested and tormented by them, although he had behaved himself towards them in good conscience. (57) Since, then, at the present day, in the Church of Rome, religion is dishonored by all manner of disgraceful imputations, faith torn in pieces, light turned into darkness, and the majesty of God exposed to the grossest mockeries, it will certainly be impossible for those who have any feeling of true piety within them to lie in the midst of such pollutions without great anguish of spirit.”
