Skeletons in @FaenoraVerse are absolute menaces, causing fear in even the most veteran players. 💀 I just learned the hard way, finally ending my deathless streak since buying my first Merc 2 months ago.🪦 Took 3k $MCHY to revive and the costs only go up the more you die. 💸

Code written. Assets awakened. Inside the Matrix Hackathon, builders were challenged to rethink digital ownership. The @metaplex Track winners are: 🥇 @FaenoraVerse 🥈 @SuperDriverGame 🥉 @tokendefense These teams showed how on-chain assets can become the backbone of next-generation games on Solana. Solana Gaming Seas #1: Testing @FaenoraVerse Spent some time exploring Faenora to understand how its systems connect and how the gameplay loop feels in practice. Tested the free version without NFTs. Here’s my review 👇 🎮 Gameplay > On the surface it looks simple. After a few runs, the loop starts clicking. > It’s easy to pick up, but there are enough decisions to keep each hunt engaging. > While there is variety, the loop may feel repetitive over extended sessions. > Milestone encounters like the Netherbeasts (steps 10, 20, 30) add structure and tension. > For a blockchain game, the experience is surprisingly fluid and enjoyable. > Bugs don’t seem to be a major issue at this stage. 🧠 Structure & Documentation > At first glance, the system feels complex. > In reality, it’s well explained. The GitBook is clear, detailed, and actually useful, which is rare in Web3 gaming. > You can also log in with email and try the game without connecting a wallet or buying NFTs. That’s a big accessibility win. 💰 Economy Design > The economy feels thoughtfully designed on paper. The soft permadeath system creates real sinks and meaningful risk. > The token isn’t just there for farming, it’s integrated into the world and tied to progression. Rewards feel earned, not extracted. > Long-term balance remains to be seen, but the foundations look strong. 🎨 Art & Audio > Clean pixel art, well-chosen colors. Animations are simple but polished. > And the soundtrack? It genuinely carries the atmosphere. Impactful! ⚙️ Performance & UX > Loading times, especially at login, need improvement. > Some UI/UX flows could be streamlined. There are moments where a few clicks feel unnecessary. > Performance optimization would help too, the game can run a bit heavy on the device. ✅ Pros • Clean pixel art & polished animations • Fluid gameplay feel • Strong soundtrack & atmosphere • Thoughtful economy design ❌ Cons • Loading times • UI/UX could be streamlined • Performance optimization needed • Risk of repetition over time ⭐ Ecosystem Score: 7.6 / 10 This score reflects its position within the current Solana gaming landscape and may evolve as more titles enter comparison. ✍️ Not sponsored. Always use a burner wallet when testing Web3 games. These are personal opinions. 💙 If you enjoyed this review, leave a like, share it, and let me know which Solana game you want to see next in Solana Gaming Seas ⛵️
