Really bizarre auction from CSK. It is very hard to fit Kartik Sharma in without compromising bowling quality or depth. Then you look at their first-choice overseas four and it does not scream among the best in the competition. There is nothing on the bench that meaningfully improves it, at best it only matches it if someone is in better form.
Foulkes and Short in particular, the two weakest overseas picks in the squad, what were they even thinking?
