If they can't agree on the "little" things like chores, they won't be able to agree on the bigger issues/goals. And people that say outsourcing is the solution are not getting it. What happens if the family goes through a rough patch and can't afford outsourcing?

Just another reason why most marriages happen around the same socioeconomic band. Cooking and cleaning is a menial issue amongst tertiary educated, professional couples. They have much bigger issues/goals to discuss and problem solve for.
