Re_Punks will not be minting in the near future. Market is apathetic and I, the founder, need some time to rest after the wild may/June that we had in ordinals. Additionally, I want more inscriptions to toy around with as we celebrate the permissionless nature of recursion.

@huuep Entirely possible to have a launch without a gas war on Ethereum, too. Most are just too lazy just like the lazy fcfs drops on BTC or brc20 frontrunning

Are we going to see another gas war on Ethereum today? People don't realize this about Bitcoin Ordinals. It's possible to do a very high demand mint on a first-come first-served basis at a low fixed price WITHOUT "gas wars" *and* have it executed instantly without waiting for the next block. And do it in the proper non-custodial on-chain way without the ability for others to front run. You can even do a random reveal after mint that is provably fair. Sounds too good to be true, right? It's actually already been done on Bitcoin, on June 15, 2023. Pay attention to all the incredible Dimensions of Bitcoin Ordinals. 🗿

I’ve been wrestling with how to give away an @OrdinalMaxiBiz WL spot ever since it was announced and it definitely hasn’t been easy. I’ve had heaps of requests and all of them deserve it, I’ve met some of the best people in crypto since diving into Ordinals and wish I had enough for everyone! Unfortunately the amount of worthy people who’ve helped support me over the last few months is way more than the amount of spots I’ve got In the end I felt that picking and choosing might make it look like I’m playing favourites so to make it as fair as I could I’ve landed on doing a raffle for Fomojis holders 🫡 I’ve said from the beginning that everything I do in the space is to help benefit our holders so it’s only fair that it goes to one of them 🧡 I’ll always try support everyone that’s supported me! This will be with Alphabot in discord so you know it can’t be rigged. Open for the next 24 hours so make sure to jump in, verify and enter 🤘

This is one of the worst ordinals takes I see. Bitcoin is a horrible storage layer, way way less efficient than eth or Solana. There's just so little transacting on Bitcoin that it's fine for now You're early, anon. Bitcoin will become nothing but a settlement layer.
Ordinals Wallet@ordinalswallet

Storage is the killer app for Bitcoin. With recursion, you never have to put the same content on the chain twice. Use the original however you want. This is how the internet was meant to be. Immutable and efficient.

If I was launching a collection on #Bitcoin here is how I would structure it (I’m not): Genesis collection: Supply 300 with absolutely insane PFP art. No animal pictures (We don’t need anymore of those). The cost to mint would be reasonable. Enough to cover creator costs. Also, would fade all “rare” Sats and make it a fair launch. No handouts to influencers. Grind to bring value to Genesis holders. Most of the utility would come from using connections to acquire WL spots for the Genesis holders, from other creators’ drops. FP of Genesis increases and would move to grow ecosystem. Second Collection: Launch a second collection (supply 2000) giving spots to Genesis holders. This would be an opportunity to build out the ecosystem and increase value of the brand. Raise funds for creator for time and effort. Third Collection: Once the ecosystem starts dominating the space, drop a free mint 7700 collection to solidify a large 10k PFP collective collection. In result, have one of the top brands on #Bitcoin, as we head into the inevitable #Ordinals bull run. The above is a winning strategy. Just need great art & a strong leader who is well connected/motivated.

@SanjFomojis @JamesonMah I've taken to calling things like pizza sats "unusual sats" as a differentiator. vintage isn't a good catchall since new unusual sats could come about

Completely agree! ‘Rare’ (Rodarmor Rarity) vs ‘Vintage’ (Block 9 and 78) should really be looked at as two different categories. Personally, I’m a huge fan of block 9 and 78 sats for the pure fact that they were mined and transferred by Satoshi and Hal Finney themselves. Not based on the rarity of the actual sats. From a sat hunters perspective finding those early sats is usually much harder than finding an uncommon in terms of the number of times where you might come across them. The main difference being when you do find them you can often find hundreds of thousands at once. I found heaps of uncommons before ever finding anything below block 1000 but once I did find those early ranges they came in massive amounts. Rare and Uncommon will always be way more scarce and so when it comes to vintage sats I definitely agree it’s an added layer to help tell the story
