@oldishbird1 @PaulEmbery No, only natives with lineage should be represented - if you are not a citizen, you are a guest. Ergo, you pay tax for the privilege of living here, nothing else. Otherwise you can always leave!
English

@PaulEmbery Anyone that pays tax in the UK should have the right to be represented.
English

@HuddsPrsrvtnSoc This feels like a bit or a sketch, I can't believe what I'm watching.

You pay for this.
Nowhere else in the world lets you just rock up and claim. Everywhere else makes you wait, work, or contribute first.
The UK’s combination of day-one NHS, fast-track Universal Credit access for those with the right status, and housing benefit in expensive areas is genuinely unmatched.
In sum: contributory architecture abandoned, healthcare unconditional, housing market broken, immigration gates porous. Four design choices, each defensible alone, ruinous in combination.
UK is the soft touch.
As usual.

Things one would predict in a highly feminised society:
1. Huge conformity
2. Enormous group think (from 1)
3. Massive risk aversion
4. Society wide use of reputation damage
5. Denigration of industry and poor infrastructure
6. Toxic sentimentality/Suicidal empathy
7. Mass virtue signalling
8. Misandry
9. Low investment (from 3)
Is it all making sense now?

“so i finally rolled back from Claude Opus 4.7. like yeah the SWE-bench numbers are insane at 87.6% but the latency on extended thinking is genuinely painful and idk the benchmarks just dont feel like they generalize outside of evals lol
been doing a weird rotation lately. GPT-5.5 for anything agentic, Gemini 3.1 Pro when i actually need to think. that 94.3% GPQA Diamond score is not a joke btw. and Grok 4.3 for real-time stuff bc its literally the only model that knows what happened this week
DeepSeek R1 when im on a budget. Kimi K2 when i want to feel something
honestly tho Sonnet 4.6 is still my daily driver. Opus feels like overkill for like 90% of prompts
anyway sorry i’ve been talking forever

Good grief. Imagine reaching your age in life and thinking democracy was anything other than a sham imposed by the merchant classes to vent mass dissent. We live in a full blown corporate oligarchy, a corpotocracy if you will; the people of this country haven't had a say for over 70 years. At least some of the hereditary peers owned land and had ties to the unique history of this country, that alone gave them more stake in our nation than most MPs or Lords today. Gutting the Lords of its hereditary peers is a policy error of the grave proportions, but of course those who lack any ability to perceive the second-order effects of their actions will no doubt fail to see this. The Lords is now destined to decline in ways that far exceed the Commons.
English

@Chackdubdub IMHO, Hereditary Peers are an affront to democracy.

As someone who lived in Bristol a decade ago, and spent many late nights out in the city, I can assure you that the most dangerous people I or my friends ever encountered were from Somalia. It was well known for example, not to cross the Castle Green at night as you were likely to be attacked or robbed by gangs of these men (as one of my friends experienced first hand). Just because it's an uncomfortable truth for you, doesn't mean it's not the truth all the same.
English

@LondonVoice_ If Banks is correct then share the evidence that Somali people are “10x more likely” to commit serious crimes.
English

Arron Banks: “The Somalian community are 10x more likely to commit serious crimes than any other.”
Leftist ‘journalist’ responds with incredulity: “Are you… blaming Somalians for drugs and crime?”
Arron Banks, laughing: “Yes.”
‘Journalist’ (still in disbelief and close to tears): “You are 😢?”
Arron Banks, still laughing: “Yes.”
A short, simple demonstration of how every right-winger should respond to leftists. Don’t let them guilt-trip or gaslight you. Don’t apologise. Double down on everything. We are right.

@SeductivSeaweed @Asmongold @thechromeqt Men are better at spatial reasoning. It's why they're better pilots, and race car drivers. No need to be bitter about it, that's life. There are plenty of things women are fantastic at, that frankly, men suck at. We all have our place.
English

@Asmongold @thechromeqt If u have such a biological advantage in gaming, u should do a 1 on 1 with a pro Valorant female player. This is a psychology question, not a biological one. Why do men continue to falsely believe they are better at sports and games when other men have routinely been defeated?

English

“Biological Girls Only” in a VALORANT tournament…
The whole reason I love competing in esports rather than actual sports is because there is no biological advantage/disadvantage to playing video games.
So I don’t understand the reasoning behind excluding trans women in this.

@sw4nlak3s @ThompsonMinor @samikshassotd "More and more people are going to be dependent on the government and welfare state."
That's the goal.
English

Yeah. It makes me really scared.
With independent and local businesses being closed down, more and more people are going to be dependent on the government and welfare state.
The government are going to make it impossible for independent businesses, for people who want to just be left the hell alone and live their lives.
Everything will be taxed to death.
Red taping and licenses at every corner.
100 made up laws to 'protect employees'.
We are all human at the end of the day and no one human should have the power to control the lives of another.
If someone wants to open up a business but doesn't have a certain 'license' or doesn't want to pay the minimum wage, so they can afford to stay open, they should be able to do what they want!

The largest supermarket in Britain, that operates on razor-thin margins, is about to be crushed for the crime of paying different jobs different salaries, while our legislature shrugs.
How dare they suggest that “so-called market rates” can exist in Soviet Britain.

@ZackPolanski You're deranged, the minimum wage is crushing median wages, entry level jobs are now similarly paid to jobs that would have previously been a promotion. There is little incentive to take on harder roles or professionally develop now because of it, it's killing the economy.
English

@ReemAmirIbrahim You are a subversive, mass immigration suppresses birth rates by supressing wages and depleting the housing supply. Multiculturalism also reduces trust within societies, which again supresses birth rates. The end mass of immigration will raise birth rates again, mark my words.

Did you know?
Treviso, Italy’s lovely waterfront walkways originated as towpaths for oxen to haul massive cargo barges from the Venetian lagoon into the heart of the city.
In the 1990s, to protect the river’s delicate ecosystem and preserve the urban landscape of the historic city center, the Sile Regional Park was established, turning areas along the river’s edge into the greenbelt corridor and scenic riverside promenades of today.
Urban renewal doesn’t have to be ugly! 🙂
