It's 2026, and highly educated, very intelligent, experienced cybersecurity professionals are still requesting penetration testing conducted within a 2-hour window each evening, highest risk category (potential loss to human life), and not whitelisting.

I wish this were an infrequent occurrence, but ChatGPT lies EVERY time now. And Grok does so ~80% of the time. Is it just me, or has AI gone from bad, to worse, to unusable in just the last year?

I will be replacing my @Ecobee thermostat. I reported an open cloud bucket to them - 7,060 files exposed. Nothing sensitive yet, so I rated it a Medium risk. They said they do not plan to fix it. It's still wide open.
