Being Cuban from Pinar del Rio, where my family's electricity is cut off for more than 12 hours a day, reading this thread is irritating. YOU CAN NOT go to Cuba as a "tourist" to learn anything. 1/3

If you want to know how Cubans live, you MUST live there, for at least five months, WITHOUT a capitalist currency. You MUST experience what it is like to wait hours in a queue to get food, medicine, basic things like toothpaste, go to regular hospitals, etc. 2/3
