She wrote the song ’Become the One’ inspired by the documentary 'My Transgender Summer Camp' and ‘Annabel’ inspired by Kathleen Winter's 2010 novel of the same name about an intersex child. She was one of many British musicians to sign an open letter in support of the trans community in response to the UK Supreme Court ruling on trans women.
