Paul & Silas didn't escape bcuz the Lord kept them there & saved a household! God sent the earthquake to free the jailer, not His disciples. How often do we run when the Spirit says stay? It might be dark, nasty & unfair & still be the will of God for us. Stay til He says go.

Sometimes the Spirit keeps us in the uncomfortable place. Paul & Silas worshipped at midnight not to force a miracle from God but bcuz it was their lifestyle in every circumstance. If we demand comfort in order to be used by God, we'll spend most of our lives on the sidelines.
