@giyom Yes, but I can't figure out how Lightning would handle exchange rates between different assets as part of a single transaction.

@marccwr Yes, that's the low-hanging fruit atm. Anyone can build their own @Ripple client software to serve whomever they want though...

@adam3us Sure -- you can do all that on the *new* @Ripple too... But how do we convince people to bother managing their own credit creation?

@midmagic To me, decentralization of credit is primary; decentralization of transaction processing is secondary (albeit important).

@midmagic If we could do that in software, we might be able to create a system without banks, exchanges, and gateways at the centre.

@midmagic For me, the key to a workable credit network for individuals is client software that automates everything. People don't have time.
