#TheOdyssey is a staggering experience. Christopher Nolan anchors the spectacular visuals in rich emotion. I wasn't expecting to cry so much. This 3000-year-old story with gods, goddesses, witches and creatures speaks eloquently to our current time. Can't wait to see it again.

Hundreds of snakes escaped from a breeding farm in Hengzhou, south China's Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, after severe flooding triggered by Typhoon Maysak damaged the facility Imagine if this was india

Modi’s age (75) provides extra complexities, with requests for his schedule to allow for nap times and a preference for venues without stairs he’d need to use... This is being reported in the NZ press. stuff.co.nz/nz-news/361004…

𝕏 is a great platform for product announcements, especially if done by the CEO directly. Way more interesting to the public than generic press releases. This post by Mark Zuckerberg already received over 12 million views for free!

The BJP ecosystem is on an overdrive to show that Australia’s uranium sales to India are a Modi breakthrough. On Dec 4 2011, Australian Prime Minister Julia Gillard got approval of her party to sell uranium to India following the India-US Nuclear Agreement of Oct 2008. The BJP trolls - that include some of its MPs too - need to do their homework better.

She was a professor in DU. Professor like her are the real mastermind behind all the protests. They brainwash students and make them Marxists. Look how is advocating for Sarjeel Imam, Umar Khalid and other rioters.

REALITY CHECK: It doesn’t take a cloudburst to paralyse our “smart” cities. A few hours of rain and Noida goes under, just as Gurugram did days ago. The problem isn’t the monsoon. It’s the failure to build cities that can withstand it. Not easy but better, more accountable urban governance might help. Pic here: from a Noida main road today.

Shocking Case in India: Public Punishment of the Perpetrators In Sri Ganganagar, a 13-year-old schoolgirl was abducted, sold to hotel owners, and gang-raped by up to 32 men in groups over the course of five days. The perpetrators held her captive in several hotels, forced her to drink alcohol, and abused her daily in groups of up to six men. The minor survived the horror. Following a police raid, she was freed alive. Outraged residents took matters into their own hands: They captured several perpetrators (at least 18 individuals), tied them together with ropes, and paraded them publicly through the streets—a clear form of public punishment and shaming. They then handed the bound men over to the police. The authorities in Rajasthan responded with an iron fist: They ordered the demolition of all four hotels involved. The case has sparked nationwide outrage, not only due to the unimaginable brutality toward a child, but also because of the failure of the child protection system. - @rebew_lexa
