Spreadsheet update! I originally started this thing to see how much Jimin was represented in some way, shape or form on Suchwita, because I thought it was a LOT but wasn't sure. Then my OT7 heart just HAD to sit up and say, "Go see how much they're ALL represented, geek." (1/?)

@justmarcia724 Oh. You, uh...yes. Exactly. 👀 I can never fault an artist for changing if that's what they want to do, ever. I know too many of them to ever want them to stay the same. But that doesn't mean I'm going to like the changes they need to make, for sure.

@rgoddes Sounds like my feelings for Bryan Adams. His early music still means the world to me and concerts in the 80s and 90s were awesome! But now? I didn’t even know he released a new album. We as people change so why do we expect artists we follow to NOT change and grow?

Here's the thing: I know what it feels like to stop loving an act you've loved for a long time. It happened to me. Fell hard for a Canadian musician when I was 18, traveled all over to see him and his band for 9 years. Loved his music, loved them - they were always so kind +

@Rkivesgrrl I lost feelings for an actor I'd adored, but it didn't hurt as much because I hadn't loved him as long as the music I'd loved. I do hope it never happens with these lovely men.

@rgoddes I haven't had it with a band but a couple of book and TV fandoms. I was literally sick over losing my feelings for them but now it's just nostalgic fondness but less emotional. I hope I never come to that point with our 7.

@KpopSumeria I loved them for a couple years till I found out some stuff about one of them that put me off them forever. But I do like a couple of their songs still.
