💥BP’s quarterly profits have more than doubled after jump in oil and gas prices linked to conflict in Middle East - meanwhile UK consumers are worried about energy bill and price at the pump. Energy company said underlying profits for first quarter were £2.4bn, up by more than 130% from same period a year ago, and far outstripping City forecasts.
