@robaimes @brian_essig You might take a look at our PoC for microbase github.com/memegento/micr… just DI and db schema left. Unfortunately due to old monorepo the Framework section got many dependencies from modules.

Magento as a platform is pretty neat but if you think about just the framework and what that can do is powerful in of itself. So why limit the framework to just ecommerce? It's a WIP, but a very barebones Magento (MageOS) install is working and surprisingly snappy!

@brian_essig I've removed all the e-commerce stuff. This is a test to see how feasible/viable it is to use the framework as a web framework rather than e-commerce specific. No fancy tricks to the front-end.

I should note that this is a fresh installation from a local environment. I'll probably write up some more info on this at a later date... Some of the dependencies I discovered were... Interesting, to say the least.
