@Haylow @Steve1der And this is why I mess you with Haylow. Austin Rivers is a GREAT analogy. I’d argue he was a ranked/evaluated a little higher in HS and college, but his tenure is a good comparison to what we could see with Bronny. I just didn’t like the front office nepo comparisons

@robcleezy @Steve1der 1) I think we can all admit that this is a weak draft. 2) every team has developmental players, Bronny is no different 3) Austin Rivers prob wouldn’t have been drafted and he turned out to be a serviceable player with a lengthy career 4) if he can lock in on D we may have sumn

@Steve1der @Haylow To be clear, I have no problem with Bronny getting drafted. But we’ll have to see if he can make a squad or turn out to be a solid NBA player. Jeanie’s been in seat since 2013, I think, and has a chip under her belt. Albeit a bubble chip 🤷🏾

@Steve1der @Haylow The false equivalence is not that Jeanie wouldn’t be running a team with out her dad. My challenge is that the impact on the selection is not equal. Would you want a doctor’s son to operate on you just because their parent was a specialist?

@PazTres I didn’t hear it as “you gotta get married” but there would be incentives if they got married. We basically incentivise the destruction of black familes, Section 8 men can’t be in the house, WIC, child support, etc. it’s a wicked cycle. I like the trade school part tho
