This 4,500-year-old terracotta dice from the Indus-Saraswati Civilization is a powerful reminder of India’s living heritage. Dicing is also mentioned as a popular game in Rig and Atharva Vedas (two of the four sacred Vedic scriptures). From symbols and craftsmanship to rituals, yogic practices, and collective memory, numerous elements of ancient Indian civilization continue to thrive in the daily social and religious life of Indian society across regions and communities. Civilizational inheritance is not just about geography or ruins, it is defined by living customs, symbols, rituals, and unbroken cultural consciousness. India is the enduring living continuity of the Indus-Saraswati Civilization. #IndusSaraswatiCivilization #AncientIndianHeritage

Hyderabadi Muslim and his wife were caught smuggling cigarettes into London via Heathrow airport. When questioned by border patrol the Hyderabadi says, "If you deport me to India, the Indian Government will kill both of us. Too much tension there. Too much harassment in India."

Surya Pratap Chauhan, 17, was stabbed to death by Asad and his associates in Ghaziabad on the day of Bakrid, and the local Muslim community had nothing to say about it (below video). Now that Asad has died in a police encounter, this reporter should go back to the same locality and ask questions about the encounter. I'm sure they'll have a lot to say about it, ranging from "this isn't right" and "Asad shouldn't have been encountered but dealt according to the law" to claims that the Yogi govt is intentionally targeting them.

These youngsters in India are doing a great job finding issues and vulnerabilities on govt sites and IT infra. They are also saying, at least @ni5arga told me, he gets "boilerplate thank you" from CERT_In and other departments. Nothing else. But, imo, these youngsters must not just be acknowledged but must be rewarded and used as assets of the state. Why hire only costly "cybersecurity experts" now when sitting all along with simple security issues that can be discovered by kids from home? It would be good if these youngsters are all acknowledged publicly, rewarded, and invited to be a part of some CERT_IN initiative to find security and other issues in all govt sites and apps if they like to. They will feel rewarded and acknowledged, the public will feel the govt is acting and giving opportunities to the talented, and GoI benefits from low cost fixes for low hanging fruit issues before it blows up. I always feel India is sitting on so much of free high quality talent in everything from cyber security to infowar to AI (just read about how much Indian youngsters contributed to github) and OSInt, but are not being used by the state ecause of rigid sarkari systems and some kind of "we know it already" attitude. GoI needs to create some sidetrack program for the talented in India to work with the Govt in many areas. Also, a site for getting internships with MPs for Indian college students will be good.

Yesterday, Congress MLA Vinesh Phogat lost to young wrestler Meenakshi Goyat in the Asian Games qualification bout. Meenakshi is not a BJP leader. She is the daughter of a poor farmer, a Jat girl from Haryana who earned her place through hard work and talent. Yet, instead of accepting the defeat gracefully, Vinesh Phogat is once again playing the victim card and talking about conspiracies. Truly pathetic. At this point, one has to ask why she keeps getting so many chances while several talented young wrestlers are waiting for opportunities. She was always meant for Congress.

I remember this argument made by a Pakistani student from UT Austin at a private event. He said "My country is Islamic so it is fine if we do not treat non-Muslims as equal to us; it's the basis of the founding of our nation but India is secular according to its constitution, therefore it must treat all citizens equally." The shamelessness is unbelievable.
The Chronology@TheChronology__

Pakistan is an ideological state. It was created on the principles of Islam, and it should not deviate from it. It should not give recognition to Israel since it's against Islamic principles - Arfa Khanum She wants Pakistan to remain Islamic, but India should be secular

Starting tomorrow, Supreme court of India is on a six-week summer vacation and will be operating at just 19% of its capacity. There are 53 million cases pending in Indian courts - 93,143 of them are pending in the Supreme Court. A judge can go on a vacation, a judiciary cannot.

I was hearing @sanjeevsanyal 's interview by Shubhankar Mishra. Sanjeev says - In Indian history, Ashoka was called Chand Ashoka, meaning "Ashoka the Cruel". It was only during the colonial rule, he was transformed as "Ashoka the Great". Because British wanted a pacifist icon.

“In our Hindu society and culture, we believe that husband and wife share a divine relationship. If my wife falls ill, it is not my duty to marry again. My duty is to get my wife treated. But Congress is saying that if my wife is sick, I should get another opportunity to marry again. This is cruelty. A reputed political party cannot say this.” - Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma.
