I've been reading up on China and they're building a world where oil is irrelevant through clean energy and hydrogen (created via clean energy).
Based on what I've read it's basically a Kodak moment where the whole energy sector is transitioning to clean energy while the oil lobby in the US basically gave that future away to China.
Once energy is close to free and China starts building infrastructure for other countries all around the world their designs become the de facto standard.
This energy abundance makes it so running AI systems become basically a utility that is accessible to everyone.
China will have the most AI integrated society in the world. Meanwhile the US has been extracting so much value out of our own citizens that the people that could have built a better future are living paycheck to paycheck and thus don't have the mental bandwidth to innovate.
It's all lost potential that could have been if the elites had some foresight to actually take care of their own citizens.
The end game of this process is that all oil companies will eventually go out of business purely because they can't compete on price.
China is building extreme energy abundance while oil companies in the US are focused on extracting every penny out of the consumer.
This is what happens when you have the Epstein class in charge.
