Here’s what the recent polls tell me about what Michigan voters are seeing.

Out of a job? A corporation offshored or automated your job. Can't afford a home? A corporation is speculating on the home you should've been able to afford. No healthcare? Health insurance companies know exactly how to price you out. It's us vs. corporate greed. Every time.

El-Sayed: This is an illegal, unjustified war—the destruction of people’s lives over there, the destruction of our livelihoods here—all for what? So Trump and his goons can trade on the probability of stock markets they’re manipulating to make money for themselves while the rest of us pay? It is insane. It’s wrong. It needs to stop. And we need to hold him—and everybody who empowered this—accountable.

El-Sayed: Look, you know, narcissism is the endgame of Donald Trump’s personality. We think about it as having too much ego, but it’s actually having too little. His ego has become a black hole—nothing can satiate him. He reaches for power and money and fame and glory, and never gets enough. So what happens to people who get sucked into that orbit? It’s the same thing that happens to anything that gets sucked into a black hole—you end up becoming a smaller version of whatever you were. I hope people can understand that he’s insatiable. He is going to take everything he can from you and throw you away. You will end up a shell of yourself. Just ask all the people who’ve worked with him. Ask Mike Pence. Ask Kristi Noem. Ask all the people he’s chewed up, spit out, and destroyed in the process. Now think about the people who’ve really suffered—the people who live on the wrong side of wars he’s created, who live on the wrong side of healthcare he’s taken away, who live on the wrong side of an economy he’s destroyed.
