my mom has a friend who went with her to an mlb game just because she wanted to try out her new camera.. doesn't know a single damn thing about baseball but she wasn't talking about and critizing the players or the game as if she knew it all so who cares. ponder on this one

you don't have to understand something to enjoy it in a lot of ways this is one of the job of casters, to make you excited about things you might not understand, but if you are going to call yourself a fan is it not natural to want to better understand what you're watching
