Geno Auriemma: "There were 6 fouls called that quarter. All of 'em against us. And they've been beating the sh*t out of our guys down there the entire game... This is ridiculous. Their coach rants and raves on the sideline, and calls the referees some names you don't wanna hear."
@big_business_@rakimgodmc I like his list, although I would rank him considerably higher. At the top actually. And I just dont get Kendrick Llamar at all, but he gets lots of love, so it must just be me.
Tiger Woods’ private jet landed in Zurich, Switzerland earlier today. Zurich is home to some of the most luxurious treatment facilities in the world.
Tiger released a statement earlier this week to say he was taking some time away to seek treatment and focus on his health.
🚨🐻🗣️ #NEW — Jack Nicklaus offers his support for Tiger Woods, with the 18-time major winner saying he doesn’t think Woods would be taking painkillers if he didn’t need them. (Via @pbpost)
“Sometimes you get, you know, too far down the line and you just need somebody to help you. I think he probably needs some help. And we all want to help him. We're all on his side.”
“Obviously I feel bad for Tiger. I like Tiger. I don't just like him, I like him a lot. He's been taking painkillers for a long time and I don't know how much pain he's in because I just don't know.”
“But I don't think he'd be taking them if he didn't need them.”
➡️ Thoughts on Jack’s comments?
@TracyMarvin6@NUCLRGOLF@pbpost@TWlegion I agree. And after being on them for years, he probably doesn't even recognize being impaired. But, he is and needs to stop driving.
@roy_smith100@NUCLRGOLF@pbpost@TWlegion He may NOT be addicted to regularly prescribed opioids. He is almost certainly dependent on them, doesn’t mean he abuses them. Not everyone who takes painkillers is an addict or a bad person
@roy_smith100@NUCLRGOLF@pbpost@TWlegion Meanwhile, people with chronic and acute pain are thrown a few Tylenol to get them through the years and years of pain. We are all just trying to cope with pain and we get harassed and bullied and told we are addicts just chasing a high. Good grief.
@FakeGroyperBot@wvu185@Zigmanfreud I dont know. It seems like our legal system is pretty lenient, especially when you acknowledge the problem and take corrective actions.
@roy_smith100@wvu185@Zigmanfreud The dude saying “him checking himself into rehab doesn’t help his storyline” clearly has 0 idea of how the legal system works in this country.
I’m not defending Tiger Woods, his accident was clearly his fault & he deserves to be held accountable, but based on this version of the body cam footage of his arrest, it sure seems like a non celebrity might’ve not been charged with a DUI. He seems not as out of it as expected.
@roy_smith100@NUCLRGOLF@pbpost@TWlegion He’s driving while impaired. And twice resulted in accidents where it’s a miracle he didn’t kill himself or someone else.
@roy_smith100@NUCLRGOLF@pbpost@TWlegion I think it's been well-established that he's a sex addict and he had doctors everywhere giving him prescriptions. I'm not sure that what he did is any more noble than blowing lines off a stripper's ass, it just costs more.
@roy_smith100@NUCLRGOLF@pbpost@TWlegion A reminder that during his previous arrest, it came to light that Tiger had doctors in Florida, Texas and California all writing prescriptions without knowing he had other doctors doing the same. Tiger isn’t just some guy managing pain under a doctor’s supervision.
@Eaglebauer@NUCLRGOLF@pbpost@TWlegion Agreed. Honestly, his biggest mistake was getting married. Would have been a different life without that disastrophe.
@roy_smith100@NUCLRGOLF@pbpost@TWlegion He gets empathy for his sex network of women across the country to cheat on his wife with? He gets empathy for multiple accidents already and nearly killing himself and others? He gets pity and we wish him the best, but he should not be treated like this holy, moral character.
