The Prime Minister told a closed-door fundraiser that Michael Ma represents "Liberal values." Really.
Are Carney's values to deny the existence of forced Uyghur labour camps in Xinjiang, with their products in our markets?
Are Carney's values to be silent on human rights, so as to cozy up to authoritarians?
Or worse, are Carney's values those of appeasement, of Beijing's New World Order?

At a rural farm in Indian River earlier today, I asked Poilievre for his reaction to Bill C-15, which assists the Liberals in expropriating land for the $90 billion ALTO high-speed rail project
"Your private property is not safe under this Liberal government," he replied, pointing to the Cowichan Tribes ruling in BC

It was great to be part of the grand opening of the Durham Resettlement Assistance Program (RAP) House and the Oshawa/Clarington Welcome Centre Community Development Council Durham — supporting newcomers as they begin building their lives in our community.
Spaces like this play an important role in strengthening a pathway to success — providing the support, connection, and resources individuals and families need to become independent and confident in their new environment.
Because when people are given the opportunity to succeed, our entire community is stronger for it.

The city of Ottawa has no power to block imports made with forced labour.
The Liberal federal government does…but they are not.
Why does the Globe protect the Carney Liberals by using “Ottawa” instead of assigning responsibility!?!

Poilievre rips Carney for failing to approve a single new major energy project despite being granted unprecedented new powers from Parliament to fast-track projects.
"You can't fill pipelines with speeches in Davos, and you can't fill hungry stomachs with fake MOUs and announcements," he says.

🚀 A proud moment for Canada.
As @Astro_Jeremy prepares to make history aboard the Artemis II mission, our community is celebrating alongside the entire country.
For the first time, a Canadian will travel beyond Earth’s low orbit and around the Moon. It is an incredible milestone that reflects the talent, determination, and innovation that Canadians bring to the world stage.
Here in Oshawa, where we are proud of our contributions to science, industry, and innovation, this mission is a powerful reminder to our young people that there are no limits to what they can achieve.
Wishing Jeremy and the entire Artemis II crew a safe journey as they take this historic step forward.
🇨🇦 We are all cheering you on.

Conservatives are calling on the Liberal government to scrap the Alto high-speed rail project.
There are several reasons we are against this project as it stands:
🔴 The cost. Right now, the estimated cost of the project is greater than the current federal deficit. That amounts to nearly $8,000 for a family of four. We simply can't afford this right now.
🔴 The actual success of the project. Real construction for this project won't start until 2030 and the first stretch of the railway wouldn't be completed until 2037. Two-thirds of surveyed Canadians said they probably wouldn't use it even once a year. And according to McGill’s Transport Research Lab, the train will require $2.54 billion in annual subsidies in its first year (more than double the total cost of VIA Rail this year). We have no guarantees that this project will be built on time or on budget, and if it will even get enough use to justify its cost.
🔴 The lack of clarity on the expropriation process. This has been the top issue I have been hearing about as an MP. Thousands of properties could ultimately be affected along the corridor and people have not getting the clear answers they deserve on this important issue. Canadians have seen before how poorly managed expropriation can leave lasting damage. For example, after expropriating approximately 18,600 acres of prime farmland, the federal government abandoned plans for an airport in Pickering, Ontario, leaving the land in limbo for more than 50 years.
I am all for getting nation building projects built. But nation building projects should make money for Canadians, not take money from Canadians.
The Liberals should focus on getting natural resource projects built that will grow our economy sooner rather than later. An incredibly expensive train that won't even be fully operational within the next decade will not achieve that goal.

Every country facing $100/barrel oil:
🇦🇺 Australia: fuel tax cut in half, free transit
🇮🇹 Italy: emergency fuel tax cut
🇪🇸 Spain: fuel tax relief
🇮🇪 Ireland: fuel tax relief
🇵🇹 Portugal: fuel tax relief
🇨🇦 Canada: raised industrial carbon tax & alcohol taxes
When the Minister of Finance was asked about what other countries are doing,
He said “he’s following carefully”
Happy April Fools.
The joke is our government: 24/7
365 days.

This is NOT the train that was originally proposed to the people of Peterborough.
Farmers, landowners and taxpayers have spoken and @PierrePoilievre listened.
Canada desperately needs affordable, reliable, safe transportation but this Alto ain’t it. ⬇️⬇️⬇️

BREAKING
Conservatives passed a motion to obtain the secret agreement between foreign drugmaker Grifols and Canadian Blood Services.
According to reports, Grifols has been using blood plasma donated by Canadians to sell products overseas.
Health Canada has never even seen the agreement.
Two people just died at Grifols facilities in Manitoba and the Health Minister has still not met with the company.
When Grifols testified at health committee, the company refused to hand over the agreement, so we passed a motion to get it.
There's another layer to this story.
Brookfield Asset Management has made multiple attempts to purchase Grifols over the past two years, including a multi-BILLION dollar bid.
Mark Carney holds significant personal investments in Brookfield.
More to come.
