I'm an American trauma surgeon. One year ago today I was volunteering at Nasser Medical Complex in Gaza when Israel fired a missile into the room of my 16-year-old patient, Ibrahim Barhoum. The missile killed him instantly. If it had hit the room 90 seconds later it would have killed me, too. Today the US and Israel are still blocking medical supplies from entering Gaza, and are repeating the assault on hospitals and healthcare workers across Lebanon. This is nothing but barbarism. It must be stopped.

The United States has a recession every 4 to 7 years and that is because capitalism can't operate under its own weight. However countries like Cuba can be under sanctions, embargos and blockades while surviving 65 years of it. It seems to me that if the US was subject to the same conditions as Cuba, this country would collapse within weeks. This 65-year stress test shows that Cuba is the superior country with the superior system. This is why the US officials want to bring it down because that would signal to us that if Cuba is successful, then we would want to copy an economic system similar to theirs. The US regime is persecuting Cubans out of fear because they do not want us to liberate ourselves just like they have.

They invented an "Iranian terrorist group" that they’re accusing of “antisemitic attacks” exactly as the war of aggression on Iran starts... They didn’t even bother to give it a Farsi name as they forgot that Iran doesn’t use Arabic…

In March 2025, Israeli soldiers opened fire on 5 ambulances, a fire truck, and a United Nations vehicle, in southern Rafah, Gaza Strip. The massacre resulted in the deaths of 15 emergency workers. The Israelis then buried the dead and their ambulances and lied about what happened
