Walked my daughter to school today and was greeted with three separate “Yo! Skate Unc! What’s up!” as we approached the school. Little dudes were bombing a hill before the bell rang.😂 I can’t remember how much I spent on that skate hardware but it was worth every bit.

I just gave a bunch of decks, wheels, trucks, and bearings to the group of little skate homies in the neighborhood. Watching them pop and swap with the new parts and their old parts all together was great. I had enough for 5 completes and these kids made a dozen good setups out of it all so that everyone had something nice to ride. It was fucking beautiful. I know when they’re old heads they’ll do the same for some little skate homies. That’s how the skateboarding community has survived.

Guy I had muted bought a Frog. Seems he was not happy with the response he got from the community. So he got on an alt and started talking crap in all my comments. Weird place. P.S. The Frog welcome is legendary in the NFT world. Hopefully we can keep that piece of our lore going.

@napqueen3000 @dave_dlt Is it a better use of funding? Important question. We have a finite number of appointments. We have patients with undifferentiated symptoms who could have cancer. I would prioritise those patients over patients who need a sick note, if someone else can do a sick note.

@runningmole @dave_dlt But who is paying for the staff? None of it is insurmountable but whose responsibility is it to organize, fund, train, etc? And is that a better use of public funds than actual NHS funding? These things don't just fucking appear out of nowhere.

@runningmole @dave_dlt But what would that "different organization" look like? For example, I have stage 4 endo. In the last 2 weeks I lost so much blood that I was hospitalized and sent home with oramorph for the pain. My GP sorted my fit note the same day they sent me to A&E. Who else would do that?

I think general practice has reached a fork in the road. Both of these are legitimate choices. But whichever path people take, it has to be one they can survive. There is no middle ground.
