@Darren_Mooney I think a lot of folks don’t really engage with art as craft to begin with. There’s even a fundamental difference to the structure of writing film vs tv, much less adapting from a non-visual to visual medium

Every once in a while, you discover that people with strong opinions about movies don’t seem to actually watch *any* movies.
Read “Jaws” or “The Godfather”, watch the movies and then come back and talk about “faithfulness in adaptation.”
