We capped off a school year filled with family engagement at our Summer Splash event yesterday. Families got information about summer learning opportunities, played water-themed academic games, connected with resources, and enjoyed Kona Ice. @Riverview_ES #CommunitySchools

Today we celebrated the graduation of the Empowering Minds students @BaltHungerProj who dedicated the past school year to learning about food insecurity and taking action with drives for our Community Schools. My groups raised over $4,000 in donations for @Riverview_ES! @BaltCoPS

The National Community Schools and Family Engagement Conference Day 1 featured a joyous opening plenary, a great session with @lacommunityscho on district-level coaching strategies to support schools with launching and implementing, and the MD Coalition meeting #CSxFE24 @BaltCoPS

It takes a village to raise our children and @Riverview_ES has an amazing one. Thank you to @patyoung44B for sponsoring our 5th grade field trip to Annapolis and thank you to @CharlesSydnor3d and @EricEbersole for touring our students through the Capitol. @BaltCoPS #Partnerships

Our @Riverview_ES staff organized a student vs. teacher basketball game to mark the end of MCAP testing. Our students have worked so hard and our teachers have organized pep rallies, a swaggin wagon prize game, encouragement banners, and more to support our scholars!

We are so grateful to the students of Harvesting Hope, a special project with the @BaltHungerProj Empowering Minds program. Students in this program led a cleaning supply and personal care drive for @Riverview_ES! @BaltCoPS #CommunitySchools #Partnerships

We had over 300 of our @Riverview_ES families join us for our Spring Fling event last night! Our talented musicians performed their spring concert, our book fair was open, we had games and crafts as well as resource tables and feedback opportunities. @BaltCoPS #CommunitySchools
