This year, I (along with my good friend @DrDavidSharkey, @RobsInstitute) are one of the lucky ones who can celebrate and will get to spend the next 4 years advancing our knowledge of extracellular vesicles in semen and their roles in conception and pregnancy.

Congratulations to all those who now can publicly celebrate their success with the release of the #NHMRC #Ideas grants. For those researchers that weren't successful, my condolences - there are so many amazing grants out there that haven't got up

Hey @ausgrandprix @F1, accessibility at Albert Park is abysmal. No specific disability drop off point at the gate (10), hard to navigate mobility aids and dangerous! And access to some toilets requires a trip over soft sandy dirt. Do better please! #AustralianGP #accessibility

Highly recommend watching this. @purton_louise outlines her journey in STEM/academia as a disabled woman and drives home the importance of accessibility for all. Not gonna lie, I teared up watching this because it hit very close to home. #IDPWD

@sarahcmdy We knocked down/rebuilt our house in 2018 for a sustainable one. When it was being designed I asked for an adjustable wall so if the polished concrete was echoey we could make rooms smaller to ⬇️ noise. Luckily all has been fine, we have used the wall but only for movie night 😂

@purton_louise Oh my gosh, I LOVE a house that doesn't echo! I have to make a lot of adjustments on my hearing aid when I visit echoey houses

To those without disabilities please use this day to reflect on how you can improve support & accessibility for disabled ppl in society (workplace & home). Our home is accessible for wheelchairs (ground floor, including front entrance) & doesn’t echo (a big no for hearing loss!).

Am the note taker for my younger girls’ piano (zoom) lessons - miss 11 is doing grade 5 piano and I’m learning SO MUCH music theory! Just learned about double sharps.. learning music growing up, I never knew it was full of rules- am loving it!!
