Pleased to share my latest PhD chapter; where me & @pimientoc investigate the rise & fall of shark functional diversity during the Cenozoic era. Now published OA in @GEB_macro! 🦈

Our new paper is published OA in @GEB_macro: onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1111/ge… Analysing >9000 teeth, we find that shark functional diversity was high for most of the last 66 million years, but has steadily declined over the last 10 million years to its lowest value today (1/2)
