I didn’t lose much from the iGetAlgo situation, but it still burns. Not because of the money.. more so because this was someone I interacted with for years in the space and respected for their market knowledge. Did I expect this? No. But looking back, maybe I ignored a sign I normally wouldn’t ignore elsewhere. I’ve always viewed BLOP WORLD as an actual business to some capacity. And realistically, outside of crypto, most people wouldn’t fully trust a business where the owner is completely anon. That doesn’t mean anonymous builders are going to rug. But situations like this are a reminder that identity transparency & accountability still matter. Just something worth thinking about.
