@UAPDr But what's really interesting is the fact that there are no signs of conventional welding to make the sphere, which is certainly less doable. x.com/sciencefandom/… The hardest to trace methods are expensive, typically reserved for corporations, not random Colombian farmers.

21/x The results were consistant with most of the sphere being an aluminum alloy designed for thermal dissipation such as that used in the automotive or electronics industry. The patterns at the top were made of a different alloy while the "chip" is an unknown high Si Al alloy.

@UAPDr Hmm. Doing a reverse image search on this does not bring up matching results. (Except 1 Buga Sphere reference) Furthermore, searching for computer chip clipart brings up hundreds of thousands of unique designs. While what you suggest isn't impossible, it seems VERY unlikely.
