Nominations have closed and I’m officially the lead Welsh Conservative candidate in the Vale of Glamorgan and Bridgend. This is my home. If you live here, by lending your vote to the Conservatives, you’ll be voting to re-elect me. Back out speaking to residents in Litchard today. Many told us they fear a coalition between Plaid Cymru separatists and Zack Polanski’s Greens. One lady blamed the paramedic shortage on 36 new Senedd members, taking money from our NHS. Plaid and the Greens will waste even more money pursuing Welsh independence and separatist projects while our public services get even worse. Residents appreciated my pledge to work cross-party to stop them. I’ll work with likeminded colleagues to deliver the positive change our communities need. Scrap the Senedd’s 36 new members. Fund our NHS instead. Many said they’re lending me their vote to make it happen.

Plaid Cymru separatists will take money from our NHS to fund their commission on Welsh independence. We need to end Senedd waste on separatist projects. Plaid will give us even more.

I’ve always felt more at home speaking with Vale residents than in the Senedd. In Llantwit Major, everyone I spoke to opposes 36 new Senedd members. Spend the money fixing public services and cutting the cost of living. Re-elect me alongside others who agree. We need change.

Yesterday Senedd Members returned to the Chamber, which is complete with a new £4 million refurb. With families across Wales struggling to make ends meet, Senedd enlargement is totally unjustifiable. If Reform win in May, resources will go into frontline services.
