a bit of a personal tangent but genuinely watching backrooms and watching clark sink into himself was such a visceral, brutal reminder for myself and probably a few others as well. i really hope im not alone on this one.

Backrooms hit me pretty hard. The idea that some folks just can't see past their perceived victimhood and are thus blind to the ways they hurt others, and that ultimately you can't save them if they don't want to be saved... I hope it sparks some self-reflection in people.

I'm trying to express my feelings about present day, current, real world, material struggles I'm going through, and I have no interest in engaging with the idea of some metaphysical entity that may or may not (and so far hasn't) decided to change reality in my favor.

Being the only atheist in my real life social circle is starting to take a toll on my relationships because everyone I would communicate with about circumstances takes recourse to something external to material reality, which is the source and root of my issues.
