@BlunderChad Ahahaha, or you handle your ingredients and inspect them for a few hours every night and then suddenly on Friday at 9pm you throw them all in a pot on max heat for 3 minutes until everything is thoroughly charred

@seankellychess Imagine learning how to cook and occasionally, as you add the salt or some fennel, you hear a random disembodied voice saying, “that’s not the right idea.” Or missing a jump shot and immediately seeing -12 in big bright digits on the backboard.

Chess is such a unique hobby, tell me which other hobby you can literally spend meaningful hours on without actually DOING? #chesspunks

I'm (cough) "slightly" older than you 🤣, but I can assure you that this is completely normal. The thing that's tough about your mid thirties is what I like to call the "Illusion of time". You think you still have time to "figure out what you want to pursue". The truth is, you don't. You'll blink and you'll be 50. I don't say that to scare you, but to empower you. Make the most of every moment, my friend. Decide who you get to be, and the mark you get to leave on this world. Then go after that thing with all your passion. Leave this world better than you found it. Don't wait. Go after all of your dreams. I'm cheering for you.

Now in my mid thirties, I think about mortality a lot and narrowing down on things I want to pursue. Are people experiencing the same thing? #life #adulthood
