Class blindness in tech is when the cohort raised w enough cushion to avoid physically demanding labor is hitting it at 26 via stress & discovering what waitresses have known since they were 17. Nurses, home health aides, line cooks, hotel housekeepers, warehouse pickers, farm workers, flight attendants, hairdressers & all the other women who have been grinding their endocrine systems into powder for generations? What about them? The public health discourse for them was stop being dramatic but the minute the bodies in question are Stanford CS grads at a Series B, suddenly we need a full thyroid panel & sermons about irreparable damage.
