So my mum came up with this idea to catch the man because he stopped taking my sister’s calls. My mum told one of her Hausa colleagues to talk to the man on phone (the fraudster is an Hausa man), and tell him he wants to buy dollar, then told him he was referred by Musa (there’s no Musa but it’s a common name so we hoped he’d buy it). He bought it! They told him to come to the yard and he told them 2pm. So everyone got ready. My mum contacted the security and security contacted the police station inside the yard. Then my mum went to the reception downstairs and waited there like a receptionist. The Hausa man came with another Hausa boy. Security let them in without any hassle, then my mum met them at the reception and directed them upstairs to her own office. As soon as they took the lift, she called my sister and asked her to come immediately to identify the man. Then my mum went upstairs. She met them at the lobby looking lost, then introduced herself as the person who wanted to buy the dollars. The older of the two men confirmed himself as the one they contacted, but he doesn’t sell dollar so he met his friend and the boy with him was the friend’s apprentice. My mum sha was there with her other colleagues and they stalled for time until the police arrived and soon as this man saw police, he started shaking seriously. 😂😂😂 They sha interrogated him and he confessed to the crime but said he only did it because he was hungry and he didn’t do it alone. They let the other boy go and he fled out of there so fast 😭 like they were going to change their minds and rope him in. My sister arrived with the police provided by her bank and they took the man away. She go do serious thanksgiving for church on sunday 😭🤣🤣🤣

As against 1001 mindless scrolls I've done today, I've taken the time to reflect on this young lady. Someone's child. Someone's friend. Someone's grandchild. She meant a lot to her friends, her family. She had dreams, had plans, had an entire life in front of her. She could have been anything. A medical doctor, a lash tech, queen of a particular kingdom, a CEO or even a wife. She most likely loved life and lived in hopes. That one day, she'll tow the path of her mentors, the people she looked up to. It didn't matter if she was academically smart or not, what mattered was that she mattered. She didn't have to die. She didn't have to not exist with truncated dreams. Her parents didn't have to live with the grief they're currently living with. Now, this is just Priscilla. There are over 1000 Priscillas who have died mindless deaths at the hands of these terrorists. Not Acts of God. Just deaths that didn't need to happen. When you reflect in this context and hatred doesn't build in your heart, you are sick. When you reflect in this manner, and you don't have absolute disgust for the government and the apolitical bastards whose mouths are too heavy to speak truth to power, you are sick. When you reflect in this manner and you think any association who still cuddles to this demonic government that has repeatedly closed eyes to these wanton deaths, is worth keeping - you are mentally ill.
