What's your biggest pet peeve in the hobby right now?

@CardPurchaser am I the only one who thinks non-numbered parallels are overrated and worthless, even if they are mega, exclusive, or blaster exclusive. The only cards that are worth anything are the ones numbered to 100 or less.

I didn’t misconstrue anyone’s point. I understand the concept of people who think that women in sports reporting only got there for one reason will always think that. And I understand the idea of not wanting to have anything to do with those types of people. However we don’t live in a perfect world and we can’t ignore that a lot of women get put through hell in this industry. Unfortunately we are judged by the actions of other people. Good, bad or indifferent. 😔

I literally waited TWO YEARS for Topps Chrome Platinum Anniversary to come back and of course I got shut out during the pre-order. And then you have these scumbags on eBay. #thehobby

@CardPurchaser These are already selling on Ebay for 2x the amount and dealers are selling dozens of boxes and cases. Will Make for an interesting release date price from Topps. This is what is bad for hobbyists.

@WaxMetrix At 12 on the dot I put 2 hobby box in my cart and went to check out. Was in the queue for 3 mins and go to check out and they are sold out. Unreal. 4th time in a row this has happened to me while trying to buy a box soon as the go on sale.

I was a bit surprised to see 2025 Topps Platinum Chrome pre-orders sell out so quickly. For 2023 Platinum Chrome, there were over 94k hobby boxes produced. You'd have to think there will be more this time. Feels like they're trying to make it appear "limited" in order to get that secondary market pre-order pricing up. I wouldn't call it limited, per se, but unfortunately, I don't foresee getting another chance at $140/box. Also weird that case max was 10, while hobby box max was 2. @CardPurchaser my local Dick’s Sporting Goods in South Florida had a line of 20 people by 845 for a 9 o’clock store open. Maximum two boxes per customer at $150. I got there at 9:03 was sold out within 10 minutes and I missed it by five people that were in front of me.
