What the people of KZN did in standing in solidarity with their brothers and sisters at kuGompo/East London in the Eastern Cape will be remembered for years to come. Their unity and willingness to act in defense of one another speaks to a deep sense of shared identity and resilience. uZulu has certainly earned my respect on this one. It’s also worth noting that ordinary people are capable of rallying behind a cause without relying on political leadership.
