"I am a male teacher at Alliance Girls High School. The news that the Chief Principal Miss Margret Njeru will face disciplinary action has come as a great relief to many of us. Over the past few months, we have been working under an atmosphere of fear and intimidation. Colleagues—particularly those who are not from the same ethnic background as the Principal—have been subjected to processes that feel unfair, biased, and, at times, predetermined. A very recent case illustrates this concern. A male teacher (name withheld), who has served at the school for seven years, raised an issue regarding the newly introduced phone booths. He proposed that their management be placed under staff welfare rather than the administration. His reasoning was simple: many students still rely on teachers to help them communicate with their families, yet the current system is restrictive and expensive, charging KSh 20 per minute and not allowing reverse calls. It appears structured more to maximize profits—reportedly running into millions monthly—than to support students’ needs. Shortly after this discussion gained momentum, he was issued with a show-cause letter alleging inappropriate conduct with a student, specifically that he had hugged a student, and faced possible interdiction. To many of us, the timing of these allegations raised serious concerns. Personally, I raised concerns over a 25 million staff trip to Dubai, and immediately started getting mistreatment. If anyone is in doubt, they can confirm if this item appeared in the budget. There is also growing unease about the role of the Deputy Principal, Dr. Cecilia, who joined the school about four months ago. Many staff members feel that she has contributed to an environment where intimidation is used to silence dissenting voices, sometimes through unorthodox means. For now, the news of disciplinary action offers a sense of hope. While we understand that the situation may evolve, we hope it leads to more fairness, openness, and consideration in leadership. We are going through a difficult period, and we appeal to the ministry to listen to these concerns and take action that restores trust and protects the welfare of both staff and students."

Istio Architecture Explained 🚀 Here is what changes with Ambient Mesh 👇 • No more sidecar per pod • Up to 90% lower memory usage • No restarts during upgrades • Cleaner, decoupled data plane By the end of this guide, you will learn: - Why Istio needed a new architecture - Overview of Istio architecture - Deep dive into key components: Istiod, Ztunnel, Waypoint Proxy, and CNI - Is Ztunnel a single point of failure? - Business use cases of Ambient Mesh, including cost benefits. 𝗗𝗲𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗹𝗲𝗱 𝗚𝘂𝗶𝗱𝗲: devopscube.com/istio-architec… Traditional service meshes required a sidecar proxy in every pod. Istio Ambient Mesh changes it by decoupling the data plane, reducing memory overhead by up to 90% and eliminating the need for pod restarts during upgrades. Essentially, it ends the proxy bloat. Over to you! Have you tried Ambient Mode in a real cluster yet? #devops #istio

🚨Jose mourinho on Manchester United and Michael Carrick : “At Manchester United, the problem is not always the players, not always the results—it is sometimes the decisions. Too many times the club looks outside for answers, chasing big names, big reputations, but football is not about reputation, it is about understanding. Michael Carrick understands this club. He doesn’t need time to learn what Manchester United is—he already knows. He has been inside the dressing room, he has won everything there is to win, and he knows what the fans expect when they walk into Old Trafford. You can bring in managers with big CVs, with big egos, but if they don’t understand the soul of the club, they will always struggle. Carrick has something you cannot teach—connection. So for me, it is simple: instead of making another ‘clever’ decision, maybe the club should make the obvious one… and finally trust one of their own.”

This breaks my heart . Why use Casinogenic Glyphosate on mature foods? From Daniel Kiogora M'inoti Kaumbuku Village, Kibaraanyaki Location, Githongo Area of Abothuguchi West, Meru County. A farmer in the said area sprayed mature potatoes herbicides so that neighbours don't borrow the potato stalks (vegetation) for their animals. Now he is ready to harvest the potatoes, as they are mature for consumption and he will cash good money as market prices are very high. Is the farmer knowing what he is about to do to his potential customers? Does he know the manace cancer is causing Kenyans? The pain to patients. Kids dropping out of schools. Businesses being closed. Financials drain the families, County and Country. This farmer needs to be arrested immediately.

Intelligence is awareness of self ignorance
For context that @DavidNdii won't tell you, NHIF was collecting around 80 billion annually and was only 20 billion in debt. This is not only a failed experiment but the biggest heist in the history of Kenya.
Moe@moneyacademyKE

SHA’s SHIF fund collected Sh58 billion but paid out Sh91.5 billion in claims in FY 2024/25. That’s a 158% loss ratio, meaning for every Sh100 collected, Sh158 was paid out in claims

A Kenyan by the name Elias Wekesa has taken Safaricom to court, and every Kenyan should pay attention. He says Safaricom deactivated his line after it stayed inactive for a few months, then reassigned it to another person. When he tried using it again, he was met with a shock. The number was gone. Worse, he says he could no longer receive OTPs from his bank and other platforms tied to that number. This case matters because it touches every Kenyan. Because your phone number is no longer just a number. It is tied to your bank account. Your email. Your work accounts. Your private life. The moment that number is handed to someone else, the risks begin. OTPs can go elsewhere. Recovery codes can land in another person’s hands. Account alerts can reach a stranger. That person is not just holding a SIM card. They may be holding access to parts of your digital life. And if they have bad intentions, the damage can be immediate. And for families who have lost loved ones, it cuts even deeper. A parent’s number. A sibling’s number. A loved one’s number. One day, it holds memories. The next day, it belongs to a stranger. This is why Safaricom must be forced to create stronger safeguards before reassigning numbers. Because in today’s world, a phone number is not disposable. It is identity. And identity should never be reassigned without protection.

Some substandard fuel is bought and 3 big guns resign. No case no prosecution. Kidogo the Industrialisation CS decides to lower fuel standards. Now that fuel is no longer substandard. It can be allowed into our system. And then you will still vote for this government 🙄 😒
