NEW LIBRARIES ALERT 📚 CPL announced that two new branches will be included in #InvestSouthWest mixed-use developments in Back of the Yards and Humboldt Park. In addition to the libraries, the buildings will include affordable housing units and commercial amenities.

This morning, @chicagosmayor attended a joint ribbon-cutting and groundbreaking ceremony for Phase I and II of the $81 million 43 Green development. These #InvestSouthWest projects are bringing 179 residential units and 8,600 sq. ft. of retail space to Bronzeville.

Thrive Englewood is the latest #INVESTSouthWest development in the South Side, bringing 62 residential units, 51 of which will be affordable to households earning up to 60% of the area's median income. This new development will house, employ, & serve residents for years to come.

This morning, @chicagosmayor broke ground on the $40.2 million THRIVE Englewood mixed-use development, which is the sixth #InvestSouthWest RFP development to move forward. There are 10+ more RFP projects in the pipeline scheduled to break ground in the next year.

@chicagosmayor is at @TheHatcheryChi this afternoon to announce the winning development team to build a $47 million, 63-unit, all-affordable apartment building directly adjacent to the CTA Green Line stop in East Garfield Park.

On Tuesday, City officials and community members gathered in New City for the groundbreaking of United Yards. The $58 million INVEST South/West project, led by Celadon Blackwood Limited Partnership, includes a mix of uses in new and rehabilitated buildings near 47th and Ashland.
