MASSIVE NEWS! So today begins the first step on a journey that has taken nearly 40 years. Back in the late 80's my Dad wrote a book that due to unforeseen family circumstances had to be put on hold. In the 90’s it was given to me to read, I loved it and it’s basically been with me ever since. 18 months ago my Mum received some devastating medical news which has fundamentally changed her, my Dad’s and our family’s lives. Since then I've made it my mission to try and do something big to help them. So this past year I've dug out the old manuscript, given it a fresh coat of paint, enlisted the amazing @yoniweisberg for cover art and my sister @Lauren91_x to proof read and TODAY we are ready to launch my Dad's book: The Man Who Stole The World Cup. 🎉📚 It's a brilliant, fun, adventure, football/time travel story set in 1986 starring two kids from Liverpool, (Kenny Dalglish-mad Jo and Comic book loving Bluenose Andy), who get pulled into the conspiracy to steal the Jules Rimet World Cup Trophy in 1966. Getting this book out in the world, and allowing my Dad the opportunity to follow his dream has been one of my biggest ambitions, so today is HUGE! Take a moment to properly comprehend what is being said here. This is a level of government failure which, in any other time, would have finished it off.

@matthewchampion @mrjamesob It's not just about postponing death, it's about trying to ensure people don't die alone and in horrible pain. Because that's the death that COVID brings and I wouldn't wish that on anyone.

I too think it’s outrageous that medical professionals are out there trying to postpone everyone’s deaths

#starwarsmemories Star Wars was the first film that our son Calum watched from beginning to end when he was just 3 years old. We watched it more times than I can count. He passed away in 2007 of meningitis aged 12, his love of Star Wars is one our many treasured memories of him.

@ThomasPride Having lost my son, I can assure you that for a year I could hardly make a cup of tea never mind work. Those who are “just following orders” need to step back and think. How the hell would they feel.

Off night for @rocksglasgow but we’ll be back.

Riders show their class as @rocksglasgow fade. No shame in losing to a side that looks like potential champs. Game ends 74-94.

Not enough ball movement and too many missed shots mean @rocksglasgow trail by 13 points going into 4th quarter. 59-72.

Momentum swings either way with the Ruders starting and finishing the quarter well but @rocks on top for most of it. 40-43 at half time.

After a slow start both sides now into their stride. @rocksglasgow trail 17-20. Need to up their shot percentage a bit.

Back at the Emirates for a huge 🏀 game for @rocksglasgow against table-topping Leicester Riders. Hoping for great game and a Rocks win.
