Someone is currently arguing with me and ready to bet his life savings that AMANDA is not an Igbo name.

The fact that she's probably the first to bear the name does not mean it is not Igbo. Chiemela is a name. Can the first person to bear the name come out to say Emela is not Igbo? Or can I say from my name ChukwuemekaEze that Emeka is not Igbo?
