3 wins out of 4 again, with the 1sts winning a last ball nail biter against @CcBrec . The 2nds unfortunately lost to Brecon 2nds, but the 3rds kept their run going beating @AbergavennyCC 4ths. The 4ths league opponents forfeited, so they played a friendly @Croesycc 4ths

Great to see 3 of our ladies pirates side playing for MCCF Cardiff hwb under 17's today in their victory over South Gloucestershire. Another reward for the hard work they've put in.

Our ladies softball sides are in action on Sunday as they travel to @ChepstowCricket in the 2nd round of summer league fixtures.

Our 4 league sides that are in action this Saturday. The 1sts and 3rds are both at home against Brecon & @AbergavennyCC 4thsrespectively, while the 2nds travel to @CcBrec 2nds. The 4ths are @Croesycc 4ths for a friendly, as their league opponents have withdrawn

Congratulations to our 1sts, who beat Newbridge this evening in front of a large home crowd, to set up a clash away to @NewportCC1 in the next round of the Macey Cup.

Friday nights at the club are always an event, with allstars/Dynamos, and ladies training. They're now about to get even better, so get down the club and start your weekends in the perfect way.

Tuesday sees us host @NewbridgeCC in the rearranged Macey Cup match. Come down and support the 1sts as they hope to progress. The sun will be out, and the var open. Starts at 6pm

A good weekend for 3 of our sides, with the 1sts ,3rds and 4ths all winning, and going top 2 in their respective divisions, at this early stage of the season. The 2nds lost unfortunately at the Oaklands.

What a day and night the Challenger Cup proved to be. The Captain's side won for the 1st time in a tight contest, watched by a large crowd. Live music in the evening sun provided by Funny Looking Angels, made it a perfect day.

Another first for the club tomorrow, as we have a girls under 10 softball side take to the field @LlanarthCC for a festival. Good luck girls

On Sunday, we are holding our annual Challenger Cup match in memory of former members who have sadly passed. It's always a fantastic occasion, with the sun out, and bar open all day. Live music with Funny Looking Angels follows the match, so should be a great day

The weather had an impact on Saturday, resulting in the 3rds being abandoned, and our other 3 sides losing in rain affected matches.

We're not a family of road runners generally (more ball sports) but proud of Shay for completing the Leeds marathon on Sunday.

On Saturday evening we held our first social of the summer. 'Bingo Lingo' was a huge success and a great way to start the year.

Starting the season as we hope to continue, with 4 very competitive sides taking to the field for the 1st round of league matches, Saturday. 1sts are home, as are the 3rds (at Caerleon), whilst the 2nds and 4ths make relatively long trips away. Summer is back.
