While it wasn't an instant "explosion" in popularity, it laid the foundation for their unique sound. >In 2017, they launched the "Every DAY6" project, releasing two new songs and holding concerts every single month. JYP had said rather than music shows, they should concentrate on performances so they did busking and went on the street >thankful that their older songs like YWB reverse climbed the chart years after release due to their goal of making "music that doesn't age." >During his military service, he often worried if the group could gather and perform together again. >felt pressure but also pride in performing at a massive venue like Gocheok Dome, reflecting on how far they’ve come from their street busking days. >believes the group's biggest strength is creating "long-lasting" music that people want to listen repeatedly, rather than just following short-lived trends.
