Times published parent stress levels are at new high (nytimes.com/2024/09/14/ups…) We published on paid leave and parent mental health 3 years ago (link.springer.com/article/10.100…). How many studies/op-eds until our government makes systemic change? Maybe paid leave should be a right?

We found evidence of reduced FA at the global level, especially the cingulum, a region involved in emotion regulation. Postpartum depressive symptoms were also linked with reductions in FA. (3/3)

We performed diffusion-weighted imaging at prenatal and postpartum to identify differences in white matter as indexed by fractional anisotropy (FA) in a sample of first-time fathers. (2/3)
